Our fiduciaries provide their cell phone number to all clients appointing them in a fiduciary capacity. You will have access to Jeff or one of our team members 24/7 365 days a year.

Q. What happens to me if something happens to you? What is your succession plan?

Jeff has a best in class estate plan of his own, which includes legal documents and supplementary instructions for his agents specifically regarding Promise Fiduciary LLC. Of course, our client’s estate plans will have language regarding what happens in Jeff’s inability to act.

You only pay us when we are actively serving you in a professional fiduciary capacity. We believe in the importance of transparency regarding fees. Please ask us for a current published Fee Schedule.

Q. Who am I naming in my estate planning documents?

The typical language to appoint us to serve in a fiduciary capacity is the following: “I/we appoint Jeffrey G. Cory in his personal capacity as President of Promise Fiduciary LLC, or if he is unable to serve, the acting President of Promise Fiduciary LLC.”

Q. How do I know you will manage my estate properly during my lifetime or at death?

All of our relationships at Promise Fiduciary are built on a foundation of trust and integrity. We treat our clients like family. To provide an additional layer of assurance and accountability to our clients, we engage the services of a third-party independent CPA firm to perform an annual fiduciary audit of our company’s systems and procedures. A fiduciary audit is a systematic, independent examination and evaluation of our practices, governance, financial and risk management and compliance.
